Who can join Volcastay Adventure events?
Anyone above 16 with reasonable fitness. Specific events list fitness requirements on their page.
Are seats limited?
Yes. Every event is small-batch (typically 10–20 participants) to keep the experience intimate and safe.
What if the event is full?
You can still register — you'll be added to the waitlist and notified the moment a seat opens.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund up to 30 days before departure. 50% between 30–15 days. No refund within 15 days, but seat can be transferred.
Do you handle insurance?
We strongly recommend personal travel and medical insurance. Some high-altitude expeditions require proof of coverage.
Are there safety measures at high altitude?
Backup vehicle, oxygen, satellite communicator and acclimatisation days are built into every Ladakh / Spiti itinerary.
Do I need prior trekking experience?
Most events are designed for first-timers. Difficulty rating on each event page tells you what to expect.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes — 25% to confirm your seat, balance 30 days before departure.
