PetStay Policy
Rules and risk allocation for guests travelling with pets.

1. Pet Owner Responsibility
The pet owner is solely and fully responsible for their pet at all times, on and off the property, including supervision, behaviour, hygiene, feeding, walks and waste disposal.
2. Vaccination & Health
Pets must be currently vaccinated (including rabies), dewormed and free from communicable disease. Owners must carry valid veterinary records and produce them on request.
3. Behaviour
Aggressive, untrained or destructive pets are not permitted. Hosts may refuse check-in or terminate the stay without refund for any pet posing a risk.
4. Damage
The owner is fully liable for any damage to the property, furnishings, linen, garden, fencing or surroundings caused by the pet, and authorises the host or Volcastay® to recover such costs.
5. Pet Injury, Illness, Escape, Death
Volcastay® and the host are not responsible for any injury, illness, escape, loss or death of a pet during the stay or in transit. The owner assumes all such risks.
6. Pet Attacks & Third-Party Claims
The owner is solely responsible for any injury, damage or claim caused by their pet to other guests, hosts, staff, animals or third parties, and shall indemnify Volcastay® and the host in full.
7. Local Law
Owners must comply with all applicable local laws, leash and muzzle rules, breed restrictions and society or municipal regulations.
8. Insurance
Pet travel insurance is strongly recommended. Volcastay® does not provide pet insurance.
