Cancellation & Refund Policy
Strict, predictable rules for changes and refunds.

1. Advance Payment
All bookings require full advance payment at the time of confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Standard Cancellation Schedule
30 or more days before check-in: 90% refund. 15 to 29 days before check-in: 50% refund. 0 to 14 days before check-in: no refund.
3. Strictly Non-Refundable
No-shows, early departures, traffic delays, weather inconvenience, road closures, change of plans, missed transport, missed activities, and dissatisfaction not attributable to a verifiable breach by the host or provider.
4. Deductions
All refunds are subject to deduction of payment gateway fees, applicable taxes, bank charges and reasonable processing costs.
5. Processing
Eligible refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method after deductions.
6. Special-Event & Peak-Season Bookings
Specific properties, events, expeditions, group bookings and peak-season inventory may be strictly non-refundable; the booking confirmation governs.
7. Force Majeure
In a verified force majeure event, Volcastay® may, at its sole discretion, offer date change or credit; cash refunds are not guaranteed.
8. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback contrary to this policy is a material breach and may result in suspension and recovery action.
